Jamaican roots trio The Abyssinians, are well known for their tight harmonies and promotion of the Rastafari teachings in their lyrics.The album Arise which was recorded in 1978 is packed with beautiful harmonies which are easy on the ear, and an archetypal roots regggae sound.
